1. What do I need to rent a vehicle?
You will need a valid driver’s licence, a valid form of identification, and an accepted payment method. Additional requirements may apply depending on the rental location and the renter’s country of residence.
2. Do I need a local driving permit?
Requirements vary between Antigua & Barbuda and Jamaica. Visitors may need a temporary permit in Antigua but in Jamaica your regular license is ok depending on your licence and country of issue. Yardrive Car Rental can advise you on the applicable requirements before your rental begins.
3. Is the exact vehicle shown on the website guaranteed?
No. Vehicles shown on our website are examples of the vehicle class. Your rental may be the vehicle shown or a similar vehicle with comparable size, seating capacity, and features, depending on availability.
4. What is included in the rental price?
Your quoted rental price includes use of the vehicle for the agreed rental period. Any applicable taxes, insurance, deposits, delivery charges, additional-driver fees, or optional services will be explained during the booking process.

5. Is a security deposit required?
A refundable security deposit may be required depending on the vehicle class, rental period, location, and payment method. Any applicable deposit amount will be confirmed before the rental begins.
6. Can you deliver the vehicle to the airport, hotel, or another location?
Yes. Airport, hotel, villa, residence, and other delivery or pick-up options may be available in both Antigua & Barbuda and Jamaica. Availability and any applicable charges will be confirmed when you make your reservation.
7. Can another person drive the rental vehicle?
Yes, additional drivers may be permitted as long as they meet our rental requirements and are approved before driving the vehicle. Additional-driver fees may apply.
8. What happens if I need to extend or change my rental?
Contact Yardrive Car Rental as early as possible if you need to extend your rental or change your return arrangements. Extensions are subject to vehicle availability and must be approved before the original rental period expires. Additional charges may apply.
